We collect only the information necessary to operate CABIN as intended.

- Technical identifiers (e.g., IP address, device identifiers) This data is used solely to maintain performance, security, and reliability.
CABIN does not collect advertising identifiers or track you across apps or websites.

- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
- Enable private recommendation sharing with your approved friends
- Store and display your personal collection
- Communicate important service updates
- Ensure security, prevent abuse, and fix bugs
We do not use your data for behavioral advertising, engagement manipulation, or algorithmic feeds.

We do not sell your personal information.
We only share information:
- With your explicit action (e.g., recommending an item to a friend)
- With service providers who help operate CABIN (e.g., hosting, analytics), under strict confidentiality obligations
- If required by law or to protect CABIN’s legal rights
Friends only see what you intentionally recommend or share with them.

- Your data is stored on secure servers using industry-standard safeguards.
- Access is limited to authorized personnel.
- We regularly review our practices to maintain data integrity and security.
No system is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
5. Data Retention
We retain your information only as long as necessary to provide the Service or comply with legal obligations.
If you delete your account:
- Your personal data will be deleted or anonymized within a reasonable period, except where retention is legally required.
- You can always request to delete your account and all the data associated with it within the CABIN app under Settings.
- Alternatively, you can email support@cabinlist.com to request your account and data deletion.

You have the right to:

- Request corrections to inaccurate data
- Withdraw consent (subject to legal or contractual limitations)

CABIN is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware of such data, we will delete it promptly.
8. International Users
If you access CABIN from outside Canada, your information may be processed and stored in Canada or other jurisdictions where our service providers operate. By using the Service, you consent to this transfer.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are material, we will notify you through the app or by other appropriate means. Continued use of CABIN after changes means you accept the updated policy.
